The Marine Corps Engineer Association’s purpose is to promote Marine Corps engineering in combat engineer, engineer equipment, utilities, bulk fuel, landing support (shore party), explosive ordnance disposal, topographic and construction surveying/drafting. To renew and perpetuate fellowship of all Marines, Navy, Army, and Air Force personnel or military engineers from allied nations who served with or were attached to USMC engineer organizations. In conjunction with Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, recognize and honor outstanding leadership and achievements of individual Marines within the engineer related fields embraced by this association and honor outstanding achievements of Marine Corps Engineer organizations.
The AEA is a non-profit organization which supports the Army Corps of Engineers total family of Soldiers and Civilians, with programs and services not available elsewhere. The primary role of the AEA is to promote all aspects of Army Engineering, throughout history, in its multiple missions of national defense, nation-building and humanitarian support. This encompasses all military and civil works responsibilities of U.S. Army engineer troop units and the Corps of Engineers. The AEA’s focus is on the history, customs and traditions of Army Engineering, while keeping a keen eye on present day developments, and projecting Army engineering influences into the future. It is recognized by the AEA that the unique and valuable partnering relationship between the Army Corps of Engineers and industry has been a major contributor to numerous successes. As such, the AEA executes several unique programs which serve to better solidify that relationship.
IPOA, the Association of the Stability Operations Industry, is a nongovernmental, nonprofit association of service companies dedicated to providing ethical services to international peacekeeping, peace enforcement, humanitarian rescue, stabilization efforts and disaster relief.
The association was founded to institute industry-wide standards and a code of conduct, maintain sound professional and security practices, educate the public and policy-makers on the peace and stability industry's activities and potential, and ensure the humanitarian use of private services in support of international stability operations.
